The private buyers we deal with on a regular basis include those who collect European art from well-known major artists dating primarily from the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries. Even though the earlier 18th century works of art, because of their age, can pose challenges in areas of authenticity, condition and provenance, we pride ourselves in having the resources in order to affect a successful sale result for you. Fortunately, we have available to us the top experts to carry out the proper preliminary technical examinations and assessments in order to facilitate your decision making process. Whether an 18th, 19th or 20th century European work of art, we are committed to doing everything possible in order to successfully analyze and discreetly broker your property, resulting in the highest financial gain to you.

With very few exceptions, such as ceramic works by Pablo Picasso or a work on paper by Andy Warhol, we don’t handle any kind of limited or first edition print. We primarily broker only original paintings, watercolors and drawings by well-known, major artists such as those listed on the pages for American Artists, European Artists and Featured Artists.

As with all the artwork we broker, we only deal with signed, authenticated pieces. If your painting has not yet been attributed, identified, authenticated or had its condition assessed by a recognized professional, we are happy to handle this for you as your exclusive agent. As your broker, we will help you obtain all of the proper written authentication using top experts whom we know are well respected and trusted by buyers and collectors worldwide. Expert authentication and an accurate condition report are critically important steps in the professional brokering of major fine art and we take this undertaking very seriously. Due diligence in this process positively affects everyone involved, and helps provide you, the seller, with the best possible monetary return.

If you are curious as to whether or not a work of art which you own or know of is something we would be interested in brokering on your behalf, please feel free to contact us. If the item is not something which we have buyers for, we are happy to suggest another outlet for you. Keep in mind when calling or emailing, that the more detailed information and clear, well-lit photographs we have to work with early on, the faster we can determine if our Fine Art Brokerage Services are the appropriate venue for selling your item. We also provide a simple and easy to use Artwork Evaluation Form to facilitate the process.

European Old Masters

While we specifically are looking for c.1700-1995 paintings for our clients, we realize that some of you might have nice major artwork by artists who painted before the year 1700. Below are the names of several of the more popular early artists and a few examples of their work. Quality “Old Master” art poses a few additional steps in selling as far as the areas of authenticity, condition and provenance are concerned, although this is certainly something we can help you deal with without problems. We have experts needed to do all the preliminary assessments needed to determine if the piece you’re wanting to sell is something we can successfully broker on your behalf. We will take into consideration the painting’s history (if known) condition, the artist, the subject matter and several other factors. There are literally hundreds of very good, available artists that people own by inheritance or collecting which we are happy to evaluate for a private, discreet brokerage sale through our firm.
