Dennis Tesdell has used his experience and knowledge to own a fine art gallery, work as a professional appraiser, and contribute to books and articles on art, antiques, and appraising. In 1999 he was a chief contributor to the first book published by “FOR DUMMIES” on antique collecting, called Antiquing For Dummies.  Years of dedication spent perfecting his expertise have earned him the respect of his peers, private collectors and museum curators. His professional insight is often sought by insurance companies, trust departments, attorneys, the IRS, and private collectors.

The people working with and consulting with Fine Art Investments are top professionals, each with their own areas of expertise. While Mr. Tesdell remains the principal broker and oversees all work done, from the initial offering to him, the whole “team” is always a part of the evaluation and research process for items brokered. This team effort makes identification, authentication, condition reports and analysis, market value and other determinations more accurate and produces successful sales.

We’re proud to boast over 45 years as an established entity in what is a very demanding, time consuming, specialized and competitive field.

Mr. Tesdell’s credentials include years of formal education, with majors in Art History, Design and Art. He has spent a good deal of time over 45 years traveling and visiting the best museums fine art experts and galleries in the world. He has learned much from renowned experts by “hands on” experience. As a collector himself, Dennis has gained a vast amount of knowledge from experts within a wide variety of fine art and antique collecting areas.
